Bag Chart · Developer: Tyler Tamburin · Effective September 2026

Bag Chart is a golf distance and bag-planning app. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled. We keep things simple and on-device whenever possible.

No account required

Bag Chart does not require an account or sign-in. You can use the app without creating a username or password.

Data stored on your device

The following information is stored locally on your device (for example in browser or app local storage):

This data stays on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers for account sync or analytics profiles.

Optional location and weather

The Conditions feature can use weather for your round. Location may come from your device (with your permission) or from a place you search. Weather and geocoding are provided by Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com and geocoding-api.open-meteo.com). Those requests go to Open-Meteo under their terms; Bag Chart does not sell this information.

Feedback

If you send feedback from the in-app form (category and message), it is emailed to the developer via a form service (Web3Forms). Do not include sensitive personal information you would not want in an email.

Purchases

Optional Pro features are sold as a one-time In-App Purchase through Apple. Payment processing and related data are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Bag Chart receives purchase status needed to unlock features; it does not receive your full payment card details.

Hosting

The web version of Bag Chart is hosted on GitHub Pages. Static site hosting may produce standard web server logs (such as IP address and user agent) managed by the host.

Children

Bag Chart is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
